Come ye, come ye, to the yearly feast of charity and bounty, in honor of Sandbar Storytelling Festival! Mirth and merriment abound at the Medieval Banquet. There ye shalt dine upon fine victuals wrought by the culinary masters of the Blue Heron Coffeehouse, and bid upon sundry auction goods and loose thy purse strings, that the festival be well supported.
Get your tickets for the Sandbar Storytelling Festival’s Annual Fundraiser! This year’s theme is “A Medieval Banquet” and will be held, Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Returning guests and supporters know this event sells out quickly! Tickets go on sale Monday, March 16, and are $120. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience, complete with incredible decor, activities, and a menu of five-courses crafted by the team at the Blue Heron Coffeehouse. Doors at the Blue Heron open at 5:00 pm, with feasting beginning at 5:45 p.m.
Following the feast a live auction featuring custom art, travel adventures, and one-of-a-kind local experiences will give guest an opportunity to take home a custom opportunity, and support SSF as we expand our community outreach. Complete auction details will be shared in advance of the dinner.
This event, while featuring a different theme annually, is SSF’s most important fundraiser of the year. All proceeds from the dinner and live auction will support festival initiatives, entertaining audiences of all ages in Winona with engaging, professional storytellers from across the world. As SSF enters its fifth season, we’re thrilled to expand our storytelling talent in schools, elder facilities, and throughout the entire community.
